Valley Brook Community Church is releasing a Christmas CD, Born to Save, as a gift to the community. Vocalists and musicians that lead the church’s Sunday services perform three songs. The title track, Born to Save, is an original. It was written by Dan Heermance, Worship Director, and Chris Bugnacki, guitarist and vocalist.
The CD also includes original arrangements of What Child is This? and O Come Let Us Adore Him. “Our worship style and sound is contemporary. But, we also embrace the classical sounds and lyrics of traditional hymns,” said Heermance. “It took our entire Worship Arts Team to create this project. We wanted to use our creative abilities to produce a gift that reflects our hearts for Jesus and God’s love.”
Born to Save will be available starting Dec. 5 at Valley Brook’s live nativity. A free copy, one per family, will be distributed to guests that attend the live nativity. This free event takes place at Salmon Brook Park, Granby, on Dec. 5 from 5-8 p.m. Additionally, visitors can get a free copy of the CD at the church on Sundays in December, 9:15 a.m. – noon.
Valley Brook is located at 160 Granville Road, North Granby. Sunday worship services are held at 9:15 and 11 a.m. During the services, a nursery for infants and toddlers is available. Classes for children are also available. Valley Brook’s vision is “Love God. Love People. Change the World.” For more information, visit their website at www.valleybrook.cc
