With the holidays rapidly approaching, the Granby Lions Club is getting ready for its annual Christmas tree sale. Five hundred trees will arrive from the Maine forests on Saturday, Nov. 28. At their Bank Street location, Granby Lions volunteers will assist customers to select and carry trees to their vehicle. The trees are six- or eight-feet-tall and will sell for $35 and $40. Profits from the sale are invested in Granby through high school scholarships, the Granby Senior Center, special needs children’s Christmas party, pre-school children’s eye testing and other programs.
