Lost Acres Volunteer Fire Department lists Recent Responses

The Lost Acres Fire Department responded to the following 38 calls: nine brush fires/forest fires; nine alarm system activations; five cooking fires; three dispatched and canceled; two unauthorized burn; two oil or other combustibles; two smoke or odor removals; one smoke detector activation; one MVA extrication; one motor vehicle fire; one gas leak; one service call; one medical assist.

LAFD recently conducted its annual live burn training. As part of required training, firefighters and cadets attended a live burn session at the Hartford County Regional Fire School. In addition to LAFD, firefighters from East Hartland and East Hartford also attended.
