Norwegian Holiday Traditions will be the focus of the next Granby Women’s Breakfast at the Senior Center on Wednesday, Dec. 3. Borgny Thompson (Haugland) lives in East Hartland and came to the U.S. from Norway at 7 years of age. She lived in a small town about 30 miles from Bergen and has been back to Norway several times. She will talk about the customs of her area, the food, music and traditional dress of her birthplace. Breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 9. Cost $3.
