Granby Dental Center celebrates 20 years

This month marks the twentieth anniversary of the Granby Dental Center. Dr. Michael Ungerleider went into partnership in 1990 with Dr. Richard Martindale, a dentist in Granby since 1959. They practiced together for two years in the dental office on East Granby Road, before Dr. Martindale retired from the practice of dentistry. Three years later, when Dr. Ungerleider outgrew that location, he set forth to find a new office. After much research, it was determined that the best option would be to construct a new office building. With the help of Rundale Construction, the office at 41 Hartford Avenue was ready to see patients in only 90 days!

Dr. Ungerleider and the team at the Granby Dental Center, which has a painted horse in the front of the office building, emphasize prevention and friendly service. The Granby Dental Center offers a comprehensive list of dental services including pediatric care, orthodontics, reconstructive and implant dentistry, cosmetic and laser dentistry and periodontics. Known for gentle dentistry and the latest in technology, the practice offers CEREC One-Visit crowns, and is the only office in town to offer three dimensional diagnostics with a cone beam CT unit.

Dr. Ungerleider practices with Dr. Susan DePatie and Dr. Gregory Kraczkowsky and a wonderful staff, who have all been with the Granby Dental Center for many years. As a matter of fact, both Lynn Osborn and Joyce Valeggia have been with Dr. Ungerleider for over 20 years!
