The Wells Road Environmental Club has certainly made a difference this year! They have set aside some of their precious time to work together with students from grades five and six to improve the school’s environment and educate their peers on environmental issues, which are now posing a colossal threat to the welfare of the Earth. Some projects the club has commenced are creating bird feeders to hang in various locations outside (which are composed of completely organic materials), making posters about environmental issues to post around the school, and planting butterfly bushes in the school courtyard. In addition, they are continuing to work hard (and in much merriment) throughout this school year. They’re getting ready for a busy spring!
